and behaviour of solid particles.
This unit consists of:
• Sieve shaker with six sieves of various mesh size
• Cylindrical hopper made of clear PVC
• Horizontal cylinder made of clear PVC
• Transparent V-cone mixing vessel
• Stainless steel ball mill
• Glass cyclone
• Digital balance
Experimental capabilities:
• Particle size distribution, sieving techniques, hopper
discharge, bulk density, angle of repose, solids
mixing and ball mill comminution
• Study of cyclone operation for air pollution control
