This Liquid Mixing Equipment is designed
for laboratory experiments on solid-liquid and
liquid-liquid mixing.
This unit consists of:
• Cylindrical mixing vessel made of Perspex
• Mixer motor with variable speed control
• Range of impellers such as a propeller, turbine and
various flat blade paddles
Experimental capabilities:
• Visualisation of mixing and flow patterns
• Power and speed characteristics of different
impellers
• Mixing of solid/liquid suspensions or immiscible
liquids
• Study on mixer speed and torque limits
